Usually ready in 2 hoursThis 10-year-old offers whisky drinkers the perfect introduction to the Springbank range. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, it is perfectly balanced from the first sip through to the full, rich finish.
A nose of orchard fruit (pear) with a hint of peat, vanilla and malt. On the palate, malt, oak, spice, nutmeg and cinnamon, vanilla essence. The finish is sweet, with a lingering salty tingle.
Aroma, palate and finish reflect the distillery's traditional on-site malting, distillation, bottling and maturation. A nose of orchard fruit and peat gives way to malt, oak, and warming spice on the palate, while the finish delivers sweetness with a distinctive salty character that lingers beautifully.
