Usually ready in 2 hoursSilvio Busca's Barolo Cannubi represents a masterclass in terroir expression from one of Piedmont's most prestigious vineyard sites. This 100% Nebbiolo originates from 0.5 hectares within the legendary Cannubi vineyard, where Tortoniano marl enriched with tuff and sand creates naturally dry conditions ideal for concentration. Planted on 60-year-old vines at 920 feet elevation with southeast exposure, the fruit undergoes 30-35 days of maceration before aging 24 months in 500-liter tonneaux of varying cooperage. The result is a wine of classical structure and complexity, bottled at 14.5% alcohol. Only 1,500 bottles produced.
